Keisha Bailey Expands Her Financial Literacy Mission to Canadian Schools

Keisha Bailey, a respected financial strategist and author, continues to make an indelible mark in the field of financial education—this time at an international level. In a meaningful move aimed at empowering youth with practical money skills, she recently donated 20 copies of her widely acclaimed financial literacy workbook, Get Serious About Wealth, to J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.

The donation was warmly received by Principal Jeffrey White, who shared his appreciation for the resource and its potential impact on the student body. The workbooks will be housed in the school’s library and made accessible to over 1,700 students, offering them a valuable opportunity to learn foundational money management strategies that are often overlooked in traditional education.

This initiative is part of Keisha Bailey’s broader mission to incorporate financial literacy into schools across Jamaica and Canada. Her efforts aim to equip young people with the tools to make informed financial decisions early in life, creating a ripple effect of empowerment for generations to come. By bridging the educational gap in personal finance, Bailey is helping to build a future where financial freedom is not just a dream, but a realistic goal for all students—regardless of background.

Keisha’s commitment to access and education doesn’t stop there. In a recent partnership with the VMBS Foundation, she provided 40 copies of her Get Serious About Wealth workbook to the Tom Redcam Library in Kingston, Jamaica. This library holds special significance for Keisha, who frequented it as a child. Contributing her work to a place that once nurtured her own curiosity has been both emotional and inspiring. “I never imagined that one day I’d be giving back to the very library that helped shape my love for learning,” she shared.

As Keisha Bailey continues to advocate for systemic change, her ultimate goal remains clear: to see financial literacy formally included as a subject in schools and to make open conversations about money a normal and necessary part of everyday life.
